Protect Your Investment with Surge Suppression |
Your telephone is a rather delicate piece of electronic equipment. Just like your computer or laptop, it requires clean, stable power. All computers and computer equipment are susceptible to damage from electrical surges. Surges can enter your home or office over electrical lines, video cables, and phone lines. By using a 'surge suppressor', additional voltage is captured and held briefly, preventing surges from entering your electronic equipment. By using a battery backup that performs Automatic Voltage Regulation, you can protect your equipment and computer data against dips in electrical current. These dips or 'brownouts' can interfere with data being written to a disk drive which can cause strange computer behavior over time. Ask your network services company about surge suppression and voltage regulation.
Web Portal - Control Your Phone! |
The FeatureTel Web Portal gives you greater control over your individual telephone's features and functionality. This web-based application gives you access to view your corporate telephone directory, view and listen to voicemails, set up remote message notification, view call history (incoming and outgoing calls), and set up conditional call control. Ask your administrator or a FeatureTel representative about the FeatureTel Web Portal!
Tech Corner: Phone 'Directories' Feature |
Most traditional office phones are not able to retrieve the Caller ID of a missed call, or pull up a list of received calls. This feature is common among cell phones - and your FeatureTel phone keeps a history of calls for you too! Just press the 'directories' button for instant access to Missed, Received, and Placed calls - just like your cell phone: The Web Portal does a much better job of displaying this information in the 'Call Logs' section. It is also easier to dial out from the point-and-click interface of the Web Portal. I hope you find this useful. Feel free to give me a call and we can discuss this in more detail.
