Checking Voicemail Remotely
 
Checking your voicemail from outside the office is easy:
  • Call your desk phone (usually by dialing your Direct Number (DID))
  • Wait until you hear your voice mailbox greeting
  • Press the 'star' key (*) on the dialpad
  • Enter your voicemail password followed by the 'pound' (#) key
You may also be able to get to your voicemail by calling your automated attendant (call your main number) and dialing '555' and then entering your extension to get to your voicemail box.

What Happens When the Power Goes Out?
 
 
Winter weather often brings power outages - but FeatureTel has you covered.
 
Because you use FeatureTel for your office phone service, calls are answered by your automated attendant or voicemail if there are power problems or other service outages at your office.
 
You can even set your 'out of service' destination to route callers to a cell phone or other telephone number automatically if the system is not able to route calls to your desk phone.
