System Update - Keeping Your System Current

One of the many benefits of using the FeatureTel Hosted VoIP service is the fact that we keep the system current for you - routinely upgrading the system software and hardware, adding new features and functions. In December we'll be hard at work upgrading the system. You probably won't notice any change at first, but here are some new features that may interest you:
- Broadcast Paging
- Paging through the telephone speakers
- Enhanced Time-of-Day settings
- Now you can pre-program holiday call routing
- Call Jump
- Jump a call from your desk phone to your cellphone and take the call with you

Voice Mail Distribution Groups
Record one voicemail message and send it to several extensions at a time:
- Access your voicemail menu
- Press 6 to access the "Personal Distribution Groups"
- To create a Group, press 3
- Enter a group number (between 80 and 99)
- Record a Group Name
- Enter each extension you want to be in the group, separated by #
- Confirm and save
When you want to send a message to the group:
- Access your voicemail menu
- Press 7 to compose a message
- Enter the "...extensions or group numbers you wish to send a message..."
- Save and send the message to the group
