Call Waiting Manager lets you put an incoming call on hold with the press of a button on your phone.
While already on a phone call, this feature allows you to decide how you want to handle a second incoming call.
When the second call rings in:
- Press 1 to immediately send the incoming call to voicemail
- Press 2 to put the incoming call on hold (the caller hears a 'Please Hold' message and then hears your hold music)
- Press 3 to play a 'Call Me Back' announcement to the incoming caller - and then disconnect the call.
Your first caller will not hear the button press, so you can continue the call uninterrupted. If you chose option #2, placing the new caller on hold, you will see the call appearance flashing on your phone screen and you can scroll and press 'resume' to connect to that call, just like any other call on hold.
