Web Portal: Meet-Me Conferencing
 
Meet-Me Conferencing provides the ability to reserve conference bridge ports for a conference call to be held at a scheduled date and time. The moderator (who has control of the conference) and other conference call members dial into the conference and are connected (at the appropriate time) to the conference call.
 
The Web Portal can help assemble email notifications for Meet-Me conference participants. A table of all conferences scheduled by the user has a column that displays icons to start the notification process. The FeatureTel Server provides the ability to send an iCalendar entry to the invitees' email so they can add the entry to their calendar. When the user clicks the Notification icon, they trigger the download of an iCalendar file according to the user's Web Browsers' settings.
 
This release provides a new Conference Floor Control feature that gives the moderator and participants of a Meet-Me conference the ability to control the conference. The Floor Control function can be accessed using * codes over the phone or via the Voice Assistant application that is part of the Web Portal. 
 
On-net phone (FeatureTel IP Phone to FeatureTel IP Phone) calls are free. Outside callers are $0.10/minute each.

Feature Spotlight: Ringing Patterns 
Ringing Patterns
The FeatureTel Server system generates different ring tones, depending on call conditions. All types of rings are answered the same way: 
Standard Rings
  • One Ring -- Internal (Extension-to-Extension) Calls
  • Two Rings -- External Calls and system calls (reminder that a party is on hold, etc.)
Distinctive Rings
This feature allows adding up to two additional DIDs to a user’s telephone to provide a different ring tone depending on the DID number that is called.
Priority Ring
The Web Portal call screening feature allows users to designate specific callers as important enough to ring through their telephone with a special ring to alert them the call needs immediate attention. A different ring tone is provided for calls assigned the priority call option.
