Your Phone Deserves a Weekend at the Beach too.
 
I have to share the story of a dedicated Raleigh Accountant who soldiered on for his clients while treating his family to a beach weekend.
 
We'll call him Kevin.
 
Kevin, a longtime FeatureTel client, devoted husband, and father got to be in two places at once this past weekend. He took his phone on vacation, plugged it into his Internet access at the beach and participated in conference calls with clients. Since he was using his office phone - he was easy to reach and having his office number on the caller ID made it clear that he was hard at work - in the 'office'.
 
From the last Newsletter - A few tips about using your IP Phone at home:
  • The phone must be plugged into a router to share your Internet connection and work on your home network.
  • The 911 address of the phone must be updated by contacting FeatureTel Support to change the address associated with the phone.
  • Features such as intercom, voicemail, extension dialing, conferencing and outbound dialing work just like they do in the office.
